Forgive me for what is possibly going to be one of my shortest ever blogs. I have just completed the legendary ‘Seven and Six’ . The pinnacle of Channel swimming training, it involves swimming for seven hours on Saturday and going to sleep knowing you’ve got to get up and do it all over again (well, minus one). I am now so tired that I can’t think of anything else to write except to say that there is so much about the toughness of my Channel Challenge that reminds me of my Pursuit of Motherhood. That’s why it feels right that I’m raising money for families who do not have the children they long for and children who do not have the families they deserve. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far. I’ve already raised nearly three thousand pounds which is amazing. And for those who haven’t but still want to here are my two Just Giving pages again:
For Infertility Network UK’s work supporting people who are going through Infertility and IVF click here.
And for the Lyric Hammersmith’s work for young people in care click here.
PS. I thought this picture might amuse you. It’s me and my Seven and Six Hour Hat Mark!
